Instructions to authors

Ghost-writing Barrier

1. Editorial staff requires the authors to reveal the contribution of particular authors to the publications (together with mentioning their affiliation and contribution, that is, information on the authors of concepts, assumptions, methods, records, etc. used when preparing the publication), while the main responsibility is held by the author sending a manuscript. This has to be mentioned in the first note.

2. Ghost-writing (it is when someone makes a significant contribution to a publication without revealing his/her participation as one of the authors or without mentioning his/her role in acknowledgements) and guest authorship (there is a guest authorship / honorary authorship when author's participation is insignificant or none; still, he/she is the author/co-author of publication) are signs of scientific dishonesty, and every detected case will be  exposed together with informing competent entities (institutions employing the authors, scholarly societies, editors' associations, etc.).

3. The editorial staff requires information on sources of financing the publication, financial contribution of research centres, associations and other entities (financial disclosure).

4. The editorial staff will document all signs of scientific dishonesty, and especially violation and infringement of principles of research ethics.
